Holiday program

During the holidays I went to the Kaikohe Breakaway Holiday Program Run by Whaea Michelle and Komene.

On the first day we stayed at school and did activities like bike life, dodgeball, basketball, tag ball, volleyball, futsal and we did an amazing race around Kaikohe. At the bike life station, our aim was to keep the wheel in the air for the longest and this would get us through to the finals, which I made. In the final the street was being swarming with the bikes and then we started to kill it on the street

It was awesome.On the second day we went to whangarei to the pools laser strike but my bus went first at lasa strike and next to the pool before we got in we went over health and safety rules then we rushed in like a herd of Buffalos some of us said be mindful of the little one as they were acting  like a flock of headlesschock

 The next bus arrived and then we had a booming comp then we went down the slide. We were going to play volleyball with a whole lot of kids then we went for a feed.

                                       

  It was fantastic at the pool because we did manu (are a tip of bomb) my bestest activity was                                     bikelife Tho

 

Captain Underpants

 This is my book review on Captain Underpants I have learnt some crazy and abnormal things about this amazing.

Book: Captain Underpants                 

Have you heard about the book called Captain Underpants? If you haven't read it, that

chapter book is amazing. And there is also a movie about it and there are also different

series of books and movies. The main character is captain underpants, George and Harold.

My personal favorite character is  Captain Underpants.  I love him because he is

an awesome superhero and an angry Principle but he only gets angry when he gets

wet with water because it breaks the spell that makes him a superhero.

He's a superhero that is a principal. He is amazing but when he gets wet he goes

back to being human, and an angry person and he gets the students not to like him and

become lame and no one likes him anymore

 I think those captain underpants is an amazing superhero.

I have enjoyed captain underpant's story.

Plants Are Amazing

Firstly, plants are both vital for life just like you and me.

Plants need 4 things in order to stay alive like water, sunlight, and nutrients oxygen if you have a plant at school.

Ask if you can make a gardening crow just like me . Plants are amazing. Do you want to know why plants excrete?

Secondly, plants excrete little pores in the leaf. ( Do you know  how plants get the water on the leaf  ? )                         

I am going to tell you the system of how plants excrete so. Plants have oxygen that pushes out the throw the little pors. 

Lastly, I am going to explain how the roots suk up the water. And then it goes up into the stem. Then it goes to all the leaves and then the oxygen secrets it and that's the process of excreting.

                                                   IN summary

                                  It was amazing to learn about how plants excrete.

How to make a taonga puoro

“ Listen you kings! Pay attention, you mighty rulers! For I will sing to the Lord. I will make music

to the Lord of Israel.” Judges 5:3 A taonga is a traditional musical instrument. Puoro is an amazing

musical instrument; they sound like a trumpet.  I am going to explain to you how to make one.

If you would like to make one persevere, 

Firstly, you have to get tools to make one taonga puoro that needs clay to be made. I

t needs water before it dries up and gets hard if you like to grab a toothpick to design it.

Take the clay out of the bag. then Break the clay in half.  after that squeeze, the clay makes

a scircle chak. The clay from hand to hand to movement it make56 it into a bowl shape knit them,

tiger, drill your bike into the clay.

Then you see if it makes a sound then wait for it to driest

After it dries you use the toothpick and design your puoro . It is an amazing instrument that is made out of clay now you have your own taonga puoro.
